I was determined to spend my special day in full relaxation mode, but it has been hard work all day. Hard work ignoring all the things that need to be done! Although (or because) I didn’t do any of that work I think a few things I planned to do between Sunday and Tuesday might have to be cancelled. I’ll see how well my day goes tomorrow.

And what was I doing while avoiding that hard work? Most of the day was spent cross stitching; I have another quadrant done on my Christmas project so it is in a good place to set aside for awhile. I’ll spend the rest of the afternoon and evening on my latest knitting project – a shawl for the craft sale.
