Back at it

I was back at the bee today and I feel like I’m back on track. I was in the middle of one of the steps in my Tuesday project and thought it would probably take me forever to figure out what I was doing. Turns out I was able to move right back into it; another section finished and I moved on to the next step. Still plenty left to do, but since it is a Christmas project I’m not too concerned about the time.

After quilting Carola and I stopped at the quilt shop just up the street. Deb works full time so is seldom there, but I knew from another quilter that she was around today. Carola hadn’t seen her fabrics before so we enjoyed poking around. I bought another roll of batting; when I started quilting I was told the full roll was the best way to purchase batting and that first roll is almost gone. I also picked up some lovely thread colours for my English Paper Piecing projects.

Before I left this morning I was admiring a quilt kit offer that arrived in my mail this morning. Call me crazy, but I decided to order it this afternoon. It won’t ship until October. Do you think I can finish another project before then so it will slip into the pile undetected?

I brought home lots of paperwork from the Guild meeting I missed, as well as photos (and the gossip) from today. Once I update the Guild’s blog I’ll get back to my knitting.
