There is no better time of year to be working with some of Mum’s fabrics and quilt blocks.

Here are a couple of my Farmer’s Wife Quilt blocks, made with some of Mum’s fabric scraps.

My Guild challenge involves a crazy quilt and one of the sections will feature one of Mum’s blocks. She incorporated her scraps into large blocks that she then made into quilts. They weren’t decorated because they were used on our beds, but here is where I’m at with my additions to one of Mum’s blocks.
