There was a lot of the story that I had no recollection of but I enjoyed it all over again.

My interest at the beginning of the book was dulled; the story dealt a lot with the battles of the American Revolution and Lord John Gray and his son. Not that I don’t like those characters, but I really wanted to know what was happening with Jamie and Claire and Brianna and Roger. Because Brianna and Roger have returned to the present-day, there is a bit of back and forth in the story. It didn’t take long though before I was hooked. By the end of the book all the loose threads had been connected, and there was enough story “left hanging” that I’m anxiously awaiting the arrival of the next book in the series.
