Perhaps it was composting my Tassimo pods that started it, but I had a cleaning bee in my bonnet today. Pat was out so I turned off the thermostat, opened the balcony doors and got some fresh air going through the house. I did a couple of loads of laundry, and even hung a few things outside. I don’t think they will actually dry, but it felt good to get the rack set up for the first time this year.

I did a “house concert” cleaning of the bedrooms and bathrooms, and even tackled the dust bunnies under the bed. Perhaps bunnies is putting it mildly – some were full grown and multiplying! Once I finished the vacuuming I was ready to head out for some errands.

I loaded up the car with all the bottles and cans we’ve accumulated over who knows how much time. I got $11 deposit back so you know I had quite a few. I also took a load of cardboard to the recycle bin. And since I was in the mood I took a bag of stuff to the economy shop. And I didn’t even stop to see what they were offering for sale, although I noticed books were front and centre so there must have been a sale on.

I spent the afternoon on Guild business – preparing for my meeting tomorrow night and updating the blog. It’s movie night tonight – we’re seeing Her.
