Rearranging

When I came upstairs to my studio today I had full intentions of getting my pizza box block finished and then I would quickly move on to the one card I have left to make. But I wanted to move all the things I had in my Tickle Trunk from the bin I was storing them in to their spot in Dad’s cedar chest.

When I opened the chest I found several pictures that had never been hung. It wasn’t a surprise because I knew I stored them there when we were unpacking and setting up. What was a surprise was that it took me this long to hang them. Hanging those pictures led to my cleaning off the photo shelves on the other side of the studio.

One of the tasks I’ve set myself is to copy all my CDs into my iTunes library. I had previously moved all my Christmas music but today I started on the rest. It was quite addictive and I kept adding and adding. I still have a long way to go, but the music is better organized in iTunes and I think I’ll listen to a wider range with it in my library.

Since I’ve been neglecting my reading I sat for an hour this afternoon. I’m making good progress on one of the books I received for Christmas. That’s a good thing because in anticipation of a new book in the Outlander series I ordered a couple of books from the library as a refresher. They are waiting for me to pick them up.

I did eventually get to my pizza block slice. I don’t have my camera upstairs so I’ll post a photo tomorrow.
