I was so sorry to hear this morning that Ray’s Mum, Debbie, had passed away in the night. Elizabeth and Ray spent yesterday afternoon and all evening with her. I’m so glad that they made the long trip to Vancouver.

I didn’t know Debbie all that well, but I don’t think I ever saw her without a smile on her face. We enjoyed being included in their family get-togethers in Osoyoos, and Elizabeth kept us posted as Pete and Debbie enjoyed their winters in Arizona. When Debbie faced medical issues through no fault of her own she remained positive.

There will be  tough days ahead for Debbie’s family, but there will be a party in heaven celebrating Debbie’s arrival.
