I put the finishing touch to cleaning up my studio area. By 10:30 I had the place vacuumed and all the chairs are available for seating. Care to join me?
I finished another project this morning that I had cut out in preparation for the craft sale. They didn’t get done in time for the sale, but I decided to finish them rather than store them away where I’d forget about them. I’ll have to update my Tickle Trunk page, but there isn’t much left. If I do a craft sale next year I want to be better prepared. A few of the items I have made could also be sold in the quilt show boutique.
I must say this reading for a couple of hours a day is amazing. I’m relaxed and ready to start another project when my time is up, and I’m getting through the stack of books much faster than I thought possible. I finished Any Known Blood and August: Osage County just in the last two days. My next book isn’t very thick so it should be marked off the list by the end of the weekend. So many more books to enjoy – and reading more than 15 minutes at bedtime makes it seem possible I’ll be able to get through those stacks.
There is still some afternoon left so I’ll tackle the last left-over craft sale item. I’ve been knitting socks during the evenings. I’m trying out a tube sock pattern. If it works out it will be easier than adding the heel on the sock. Pat needs a new pair but I do all the testing on a pair for me – I take a smaller size!
