When I ran out of bobbin thread last night I thought it was a sign I should quit sewing for the day. I only had two of the four placemats quilted and it took most of the day to finish the quilting on those two and the binding for the two sets. I have then ready for hand stitching Tuesday at the bee.

Carola invited me down for coffee this afternoon so as soon as the placemats were finished I packed up my coasters, thread, scissors and needle and headed down the street. In spite of all our chatting I got the seams closed on two sets. Carola has a lot of knitting done for the sale. She, like me, hasn’t yet run out of ideas, but we are running out of time! She has given a lot of thought about what we need to set up our booth and display our wares.

I’ll continue with my coasters tonight but I have plans for a new project tomorrow.
