At about four this morning I woke up sneezing. I bet I sneezed a dozen times, and just like that I had caught a cold. It was hard to sleep through all the sneezing and nose blowing so I got up and made myself a hot lemon and honey drink. I felt well enough after that (and a few drugs) to curl up on the couch. I could hardly believe it when I heard Pat get up – it was 9:30!

I puttered around with a cup of tea in my hand most of the morning. Carola sent me a message asking if I was going to the Guild meeting tomorrow night. That reminded me I had a couple of reports to prepare. When I finished those reports I realized I had neglected to file my HST/GST return so I quickly got that sent off.

I worked on a couple of items when I was at Kathryn’s but I hadn’t put them together to see how the final product would look. I took some time this afternoon to test them out but I didn’t have much luck. I still like the idea, and I’m not quite ready to give it up, so I’ll attempt it again another day. In the meantime I have lots of other things to work on.

It’s movie night so we’ll probably head out to the theater after dinner. I think a big bag of popcorn is just what I need to cure this cold!
