It is good to be home, but I had a wonderful trip. I spent most of the day unpacking my “goodies”.

Stacia, Deloise and I will make rugs out of this clothesline.

I fell in love with ’40s reproduction fabrics. I have a plan for this set.

When Peggy asked if I would mind stopping at Fabricland I had to be polite and buy something too. I love those Oriental fabrics, but they might be hard to sew with.

I intended to drop by the sewing bee for a short visit today, but felt I needed a day or two at home before heading back into my regular schedule. I’ve updated my website with the baby quilt and my Hallowe’en projects, added a couple of books to Goodreads (Appointment in Samarra; The Story of San Michele) , and posted a few more items into the Tickle Trunk.

We had a lovely visit with Riley Malcolm – the baby I made the quilt for. He is adorable and I was able to hold him for most of the afternoon! Tonight we went out to The Hub 101 restaurant for a movie night co-sponsored by the library. We saw Birdmen – an interesting movie, but I only gave it 5 stars because I wasn’t all that interested in the topic.
