Pat headed out early this morning for Banff. We were laughing before he left because by the time he loaded his gear and made a coffee to take on the road he was about 15 minutes behind on his schedule (about the same as Sweet Alibi yesterday). He’s gone for two weeks and I hope to get a lot of work done while he is away. I spent all day in my pajamas so I earned a bit of extra time right there!

I had a few tasks to take care of this morning before rewarding myself with a day of quilting. Once the bills were paid and my email box was cleared I got back to work on the baby blanket. It took me all day, but it’s done and ready for the binding to be hand stitched. Hopefully I can find something good on Netflix tonight and maybe I’ll get it completely finished.

When we drove to the movie last night we noticed that the 30 km/h sign had been removed from the Willingdon Beach stretch of road. A sure sign that summer is gone!
