It was foggy all day yesterday and this morning it was thicker than ever. We could follow the progress of the ferries as they pulled in and out of the dock; they were sounding their horns about every ten minutes.
I was determined to do the Terry Fox Walk today and, when I told Pat I was afraid of meeting a bear on the road, he said he would come with me. We registered just shortly after they opened and we were on our way. Because of the fog our sightlines were pretty close to either side of the road. We probably saw more because of it than we ordinarily would. From the photos you will see that spider webs were the highlight of the day.
We were home shortly after eleven so still lots of time in the day. I’m doing a few loads of laundry while I do some quilting on the baby blanket. There is no chance of anything drying outside, but the heat from the drier will take the chill off the house.
I must remember to get up and move occasionally, or I might not make it down the stairs at the end of the day!
