When Pat is away I think of the time as my own personal quilting retreat. That didn’t happen this week but today, finally, I got up to my studio.
I had my rooms all clean and tidy before I left for Christy’s, but when I arrived upstairs today there was a mess to make my way through. I had done some fabric shopping and those bags (yes, bags) had to be put away. I also had a project I brought home from Christy’s that needed a bit more material added to it and then set it aside for more work. Yesterday I printed photos for my project book and I had half a dozen project sheets to add to my binder. And there was a small pile of receipts that needed to be accounted for!
I was ready to stitch before noon and decided to work on my monthly cards. I have a couple done, and a few more than that left to do. I’ll continue with them and then set Ruby up for some quilting. I’ll tackle the issues I had with Pearl2 and, hopefully, get back to my Christmas projects.
No, I won’t get to all this today, but it is good to have a plan!
