I can’t believe I purchased one of the Judy Niemeyer patterns this morning. I admired them yesterday but told myself they were too hard. But today when I looked at them again this one called to me. In my own defense, it looks like one of the easier patterns, but none of them look particularly easy! The ladies at the workshop know me very well and, when I bought the pattern, insisted that there needed to be a photo to mark the occasion!

And if that wasn’t foolish enough I believe I have been talked into being the Guild Treasurer for the next two years. Over the past month I’ve had phone calls from all three members of the nominating committee. Yesterday Kathy, the head of the nominating committee, told me she had forgotten what committee I said I’d be willing to serve one (good one). I told her I hadn’t said I’d be on any of the committees because I’m already doing the blog. But today when she practically begged me to be Treasurer I relented and said yes. We reached an understanding though that if there are any nominations from the floor she won’t even mention my name. Do you think I should get my hopes up?

It was a busy weekend with my hostessing job. After lunch today the ladies presented me with a lovely bonsai ginseng.

Tonight is Pat’s concert at The Hub so time to get ready and hit the road again!
