Good progress

As often happens in BC, the Victoria Day weekend has been a bit on the wet side. Since we are retired a rainy holiday doesn’t matter much to us but I feel badly for those who are still working and wanting to enjoy the outdoors.

Our guests arrived on the noon ferry. I thought I would have to go along to meet the ferry because Pat didn’t think the group and all their gear would fit in his truck. As it turned out our friend Geoff called to see if Pat needed any help so he went along for the overflow. I stayed home and worked on my project. I won’t finish it today but I have enough done that I will be able to do a bit of hand work on it tomorrow while we ride the ferry.

The musicians were quite easy to look after. They were hungry and tired so after a visit and some lunch they all headed for a nap. They’ve now left for the restaurant for a sound check and a brewery tour. My friend Corolla will meet me later and we will go to the show together.
