Quick turn-around

Thursday, May 2, 2013

I spent what little morning I had upstairs updating some of my project files. I devised a better method (I hope) for keeping track of what has been added to my project book, what pieces need photos printed, and what projects need to be added to my website. We’ll see how long this method lasts. Often my projects are gifts so I can’t post them to my website immediately. I no longer have a colour printer so I have to use the services of either WalMart or Staples to add pictures into my project book.

Our car is acting up and Pat has it booked into the mechanic later this afternoon. He went out last night to go to the store but the car wouldn’t even start. We’ve had the problem a few times, but it has always managed to go after a few tries. I didn’t trust it to get me home from my Red Cross shift even if it managed to get me there. It is overcast today, and there was a bit of rain when I walked home. I enjoy being outside and should be walking more often.

It was a busy day at the Red Cross and I didn’t have much spare time. No visitors though so no extra commotion!

When I got home I got my ride to the Guild meeting sorted out. The quilt show meetings are over so it will be a luxury to arrive for 7 PM rather than six. I still need to write my membership, blog and Facebook reports although they are pretty easy to compile this late in the year. I’m looking forward to being done with the membership job.

Since today is supposed to be my reading day I’m going to sit for awhile and do just that.
