It didn’t take Gavin long to figure out who I was playing with yesterday. His Mum says he knew as soon as he saw the picture. The rest of the grandchildren needn’t worry though – I’m pretty sure I’ll be making a set of three so every house will have one (whether they need it or not).
I was off to the library book sale first thing this morning. It may be my imagination but I don’t think the choice was as good this year. Or maybe I just showed a little more restraint. I came home with one biography (Sisters in the Wilderness), a couple of quilting books and three CDs.
I took my neighbour Carola with me and from the book sale we headed to the Winter Market. The last time I was there it was a pretty small affair but it has grown since then. Some of our favourite vendors from the Farmer’s Market were in attendance, including the bread lady. Most of the vendors are indoors now and I appreciated that since it was raining just a bit. From there we went to the mall so Carola could pick up a parcel and then we stopped at Starbucks for coffee. All that, and I was home before noon.
I spent the afternoon working on “you don’t know who”. Pat is going out tonight so I’m thinking of a few options for my time. I may do some knitting (although Carola is coming by tomorrow for an afternoon of knitting), I may see if I can finish my sewing project, or I may read. What the heck – I may be able to accomplish all three!
