Back at the bee

Tuesday, March 19, 2013

Today was the first time I’ve been able to attend the quilting bee in a month. I know it’s a month because on my last day there we were working on February’s project (which I never finished) and today we were working on March’s. I hope to be able to get these hangings finished and out in the mail by next week. It was nice to make use of my Happy Sac for my lunch today.

I took a bag of cross stitch pattern books to the Guild, hoping that some of the quilters would be interested in cross-stitching. I managed to give a few books away, but they barely made a dent in the pile. I’m not sure what I’ll do with the rest. There was some talk about doing a pattern swap after the June business meeting but that won’t help me as I’ll be in Saskatchewan and will miss the meeting.

I was able to drop off a few bags at the Economy Shop on my way home. I have some print cartridges that need to be taken to Staples for recycling, and I may take a trip out to the electronics and bottle recycler tomorrow. I need to clear out some of the “stuff” in the room across the hall so I have room to move. I will add a couple of items to the FreeCycle page tomorrow.

There is a storm brewing tonight and I’m going to spend the evening with my crocheting.
