The films are over and, although I sat for hours every day, I must have been tired because it was almost nine before I got out of bed. I took my time over coffee, breakfast and getting started on the day. It was late in the morning before I found myself back in the studio working on my tie quilt.

I had a quilting plan in mind and I got a good start on one corner. I took what I had done to show Pat as I decided I needed a second opinion. We eventually decided there needed to be a few changes, and I took his word for it because my opinion was coloured by the fact I knew how much work would be involved in the various options we discussed.

I’ve spent all afternoon quilting and, although I have made progress, it is slow going. Oh well, I’m back to my regular schedule this week so I should have lots of time for sewing.
