This is a lovely documentary about Bob and Velda from Denman Island. After farming for more than 20 years Bob and Velda have slipped into a happy retirement. Bob builds a small boat from a cedar log he found on the beach, while Velda pursues her passion for painting.

Bob, Velda and the film maker were expected for the screening but, thanks to BC Ferries, they were stuck in Comox and unable to cross. Perhaps Bob should have brought his own boat!
