It was a beautiful day outside today, but I was inside taking a quilting class. I started with a big pile of ten inch squares but by the end of the day I had cut, rearranged, and stitched many of them back together. There is still a lot of work to do but the project will be set aside until after the quilt show.

When I got home I thought I might get started quilting my ties. I need to give my machine a good cleaning, change feet, and change threads and I didn’t have the energy to start all that. But I couldn’t waste the time so I dug out my guild challenge project and I’ve ended the day with this almost-finished lunch bag.
