I was busy all morning getting myself organized for tonight’s Quilt Show meeting and the Guild’s regular business meeting. I need to submit a report for the Quilt Show to tell everyone what I’ve done and what I have left to do. For the business meeting I need a report on the membership activity, as well as a report on the blog and the Facebook page. Most of the reports are small, but I have to get my thoughts in order and get them down on paper.
Pat was off to the afternoon movie today, but I had to miss due to my Red Cross shift. I could have seen it last night, but Pat was tied up with something else and figuring out who would drive and who would have to stand on a street corner waiting for a pick-up seemed too complicated.
Today was a bit of the same dilemma, but I said I could walk to and from the hospital. I left a bit on the late side, and I hadn’t realized it was raining just a tiny bit. I made it in time for my shift and without getting too wet during the walk. When I left the hospital the sky was blue, the sun was shining and it definitely felt like Spring. And what could be better than getting home and finding a new Quiltmaker’s magazine waiting for me!
I’ll be off to my meetings tonight, but I’m hoping to have time before dinner to clean up my workspace so I can get back to quilting tomorrow.
