A nice change

I had no trouble finding projects to work on at the sewing bee today. Ruby and I have been doing a lot of quilting so it was nice to work on a few other projects that can be done on my “old” machine. I really should come up for a name for that machine. It may not be the fancy machine Ruby has turned out to be, but I depend on it for the bees and my classes. Any suggestions?

I had a couple of Valentine projects that needed some work. I need to get them into the mail this week so they will arrive before Valentine’s is over. I also have a few cards that need to be done for February birthdays. I have a feeling that some of those cards may carry belated greetings.

One thing always leads to another. Along with a Valentine’s parcel that needs to go to Calgary I have to finish one mitt for Madison. I made a goofy mistake on the first mitt so it will have to be ripped back a bit. I’m hoping I’ll be able to pick up my stitches and make the correction without having to go back to the beginning.

I’ll be hand stitching and knitting tonight. It may be a late one if I’m going to finish everything I have planned.
