I finished my last flower block this morning and I wasn’t sorry to see the last of them. I did a quick review of the next steps for both this quilt and my tie quilt, as well as sorted out some ideas for the quilting pattern I will use on each. After an appointment at the bank this afternoon I trimmed the applique blocks and my next step will be to add sashing and cornerstones.

Tonight is the PREP Society’s Christmas party. PREP is the umbrella group that oversees the BOND program. In past years we have enjoyed a lovely pasta dinner and some of the best desserts I have ever eaten. I’m sure this year will be equally good, even if it isn’t served by Rene’s Pasta.
