Only my internal alarm was going off this morning – I was up at 5:30. By the time Pat got up I had finished my coffee, read my news and blogs and was ready to get started on the day.

Pat and I made a date for this afternoon to work on the photo book. I hoped to get some bias tape made and maybe get an applique block placed before then, but ended up clearing out my Inbox (both physically and electronically). My GST was due, I had some bank statements to balance, and there was more Guild work to take care of.

Pat and I are up to page 35 of our Sorrento/Amalfi Coast photo book. We have Capri and most of Sorrento to finish. We will probably need to add more captions and text, but we are happy with what we’ve done so far. We have another date on Sunday to finish the book and get it sent off. We need to use our coupon (thanks Kathryn and Dave) before the end of the month.

Pat is out at a concert tonight. I need to get my gear packed for my quilt class tomorrow, but I still hope to get some bias tape made before bedtime.
