Today was supposed to be my cleaning day, and I got started right after breakfast. I had the bed changed and a load of laundry started when the phone rang. It was the mattress store and there was some confusion as to which mattress it was we wanted. We headed back down to the store to re-evaluate the choices, and came home to do more research. Pat did the research and we got our order placed before lunch.

On the way home we stopped for coffee and it was close to eleven before we were in the door. I checked my e-mail and I had two books ready for pickup at the library so I headed across the street to get them. I did a bit more vacuuming before lunch and managed to put through a couple more loads of laundry before I ran out of time. Margaret was seeing the doctor this afternoon and I had asked her out for coffee before her appointment.

Once Margaret was home I headed off to the fabric store to see what I could find at the 30% off sale. I wasn’t able to get a few things that were on my list, but I was able to substitute some other goodies! I have specific plans for most of this material, but some of it I got because it was on sale and I liked it. I’m sure I’ll find a use for it at some point.

Now that supper is over and the dishes are done I’m going to see whether or not I can do a bit of quilting tonight. I don’t usually quilt at night, but I haven’t done anything since Sunday and I’m anxious to get back at it. Notice that I bought myself a couple of extra needle packs. Surely I will have enough to get my through quilting my butterflies!
