Edible Garden Tour (2012)

The first stop on the tour was a lovely B&B.
Dayle enjoying the view!

We headed out this morning with our tour map and great intentions to see all the gardens on the tour. The gardens this morning were all south of town (on the way to the ferry) so there was some driving involved. The gardens were lovely, but unique in their own way. Some we liked better than others, and Dayle liked the ones with shade the best!

Joel and Zoe’s yard was on the tour.

After lunch we set out on the second half of the tour – gardens located in town. Of the six gardens on the tour we stopped at four of them. It was too hot to be out and about. Our shaded deck at home was much more inviting and we enjoyed some of our Growler.

Pat made a great dinner (there was wine and limoncello involved) and then Dayle and I headed back to the coolness of the deck until it was dark.
