What day is it?

Saturday, July 21, 2012 (I think)

We had a late start to the day and then went out for breakfast. On the way home I said to Pat that it felt more like Saturday than Sunday! Imagine my surprise when I found out it was Saturday. By the middle of the afternoon it was feeling like Sunday again though. Perhaps I need to add something to my regular schedule for at least one of those days. Friday, Saturday and Sunday all tend to feel the same – such is retirement I guess.

I didn’t feel like tackling any of my “usual” projects so, after I did a little tidying in my studio, I did another lesson in my online Block of the Month series. The lesson I did was meant to be done in May but, fortunately, no one seems to keep track.

When the blocks were done I tried to work out a way to make my baby caps on circular needles so I would avoid the seam in the back. The piece is just too small for that to work and I’m going to have to go back to two needles and a seam. I think I have enough wool left for about three more caps. I’ve decided to pass them to the Hospital Auxiliary as I don’t want the stress of having to keep up with the BOND babies.
