What to do with all those seashells you have collected

Our dinner last night was a great success. We enjoy Joel and Zoe’s company and we chatted away the evening. Dinner was wonderful, but we only got to day three of the photos – we definitely have to have them again soon.

After a late night last night it was after eight before I got myself stirring. Since I had my Red Cross shift today I didn’t have much time to do anything this morning. With the time I had, I worked on the sleeves of my blouse – it didn’t go well and now I’m wondering if it is too late to go sleeveless!

After our shift Margaret had to have some lab tests done. There is a mural of Willingdon Beach on the wall opposite the lab and Margaret was telling me that she used to collect bread crusts and take them down to the beach and feed the seagulls. She also collected shells – most of which she says she still has. She is attempting to clean out her place in anticipation of a move to assisted living. She said she thought she would dig out the shells and, when her nieces visit in August, she will take them back down to the beach and maybe someone else will see them and think they are nice and take them home!

I guess I was still tired from yesterday because I had a little snooze before dinner. I think I’ll spend the evening in my studio, but I’m not sure I’ll work on the blouse.
