The Doctor’s Wife (Elizabeth Brundage)

The book is listed as a psychological thriller, but the story wasn’t as intense as I thought it might be. A doctor, who is involved in an abortion clinic, is kidnapped and taken to a dark basement in a deserted house. The story immediately brought visions of Stephen King’s Misery, but most of the book tells the story of the doctor and his kidnapper and how they ended up at this place and time. A very good read.
