I have everything cut out for my weekend quilt project. Someone told me that the cutting wouldn’t take very long, but it took me the better part of two days. There are a lot of pieces in this project and I have them well labeled so I don’t mix things up when I’m in class.
The project includes:
- 14 bars
- 12 6” squares
- 20 8 ¼” squares
- 76 quarter square triangles
- 34 3 ½” squares
- 48 trapezoids
- 96 half square triangles
I hope I’ll be able to keep up with the class. I’m not a fast sewer, and I tend to re-stitch often. Do you think “re-stitch” sounds better than “ripping out”?
